History of Fel'Durr
Fel’Durr – a massive realm created by the symbiosis of several godly Avatars whose actuall names have either been lost, were never known, or are somehow forbidden to be known. Known as the Overlord (Lawful Neutral), the Guardian (Chaotic Neutral), and the Ethereal (True Neutral), they created a massive World unlike any other, where all people from all races, planes, and realms could begin again, severed from all alliances, beholden to nothing and no one, divine or demonic, and live a life of choice. They the world of Fel’Durr itself, an unfathomably massive, rich and diverse world, whose great divides were not water, but massive Mountain ranges, known as the Peaksea. Resting amongst these were “plates” – stable, flat plains containing everything from small oceans to isolated savanna.
To entice the Gods themselves to find interest in this realm, they created 6 great moons, each ideally suited to the races who would call it home. From each moon, the races and peoples spilled forth onto Fel’Durr, forging new lands of their own, content in the knowledge that, through their ancestral homelands, they would endure and prosper without fail. A hundred ages passed, and as each moon became more secure and set in it’s ways, so did the nations they spawned grow distant and distinct from them. The fall of Humanity and the loss of their moon brought about an age of seclusion – the Dwarves of the Stonemoon, once great traders and explorers, became obsessed with their own defense and isolation while the Halflings, paranoid with fear, sought to control their world in all it’s aspects, moving from a life of peace to one of security, of rigid obedience, and of an obsessive regime that would quickly spawn a xenophobic empire.
It took an age for the people of Fel’Durr to recover from the isolation of their homelands, but now the Moons have begun to stabilize, and contact to resume.
